TL;DR: Play1st badges are unlocked/claimed and can be added to your Play1st user profile to show what you represent, have achieved, and your preferences in the gaming world.

Play1st Badges

The badge feature is part of our new feature set, enabling you to customize your gamer identity for the metaverse 👾.

Players can collect and unlock gaming badges to display:

• Communities you’re associated with - guilds, Discord servers, even WhatsApp groups
• Things you’ve achieved on Play1st or within our ecosystem - such as winning esports tournaments and completing quests
• In-game achievements - such as high scores, character unlocks, skill levels etc.

What you can do with a Play1st badge:

• Access exclusive gaming and social groups on Play1st
• Receive tokens from new games when they launch on Play1st
• Display badges on your Play1st profile page
• And much more…

⬆️ Play1st users can add badges to their profiles; these badges represent associations with gaming communities/guilds (e.g. Afriverse), achievements within the Play1st ecosystem (e.g. champion of an esports tournament), and game-specific badges (e.g. achieving a high score in Doodle Jump).

On-Chain Gaming Credentials

The badges are non-fungible tokens (NFTs), a special kind of digital asset recorded on the blockchain.

This means that the badges are tokenised, and players can attach badges to their profiles when logged in with their Unstoppable Domains account or wallet that has been integrated with Play1st.

Having the badges as NFTs means that gaming credentials can be built and developed like a CV/resume.
